DESCRIPTION from Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI)

Thanks to everyone who attended the public meeting on January 18th, 2018. Please join us for the next public meeting to continue the conversation about a potential connection between Hazelwood, Greenfield, Four Mile Run, and Oakland:

February 20th, 2018
5-8 PM
Pittsburgh Firefighters Local 1, 120 Flowers Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15207

At the last public meeting, we presented five alternative routes for this connection, and what the modes of transit might be. Since then, we have been reviewing your feedback on the alternatives, the priorities that were expressed by each of the neighborhood groups, siting constraints, and the technical aspects of developing an effective connection. We have developed a preferred alternative for consideration that attempts to address the concerns we heard, along with the operational constraints of providing an efficient connection.

Please join us on Tuesday, Feb. 20th to hear about the preferred alternative and continue the discussion about the potential modes of transit along the route. The evening will include an open house for the first hour, a presentation regarding specific elements of the potential route, and an opportunity to provide feedback in small groups.

Register for the meeting on February 20th at 5 PM at Pittsburgh Firefighters Local here.

After the meeting, the presentation will be posted to mon-oaklandmobility.com, where you will be able to view it and comment on it (the presentation from the January 18th meeting is also posted on the website).

We welcome your comments there, or you can always email them to us at 4milerun.mobility@pittsburghpa.gov
