Bad Traffic Ahead: Parkway East Closure, June 28 to July 1

PennDOT has announced there will be a FULL CLOSURE of Outbound I-376 Parkway East between the Forbes Avenue/Oakland (Exit 72A) off-ramp and the Edgewood/Swissvale (Exit 77) interchange from 8:00pm Friday, June 28, through 5:00am Monday, July 1. All traffic will be detoured.

Some ramps will begin closing at 7:00pm Friday night (Blvd. of the Allies, Bates Avenue, Beechwood Blvd., and Squirrel Hill/Homestead) and a single-lane restriction will occur in the inbound direction between the bridge over Saline Street and the bridge over Bates Street.

Parkway East (I-376) Weekend Closure June 14-17

Pittsburgh, PA, June 11, 2019 – PennDOT District 11 has announced the full closure — weather permitting — of the inbound (westbound) Parkway East (I-376) between the Edgewood/Swissvale (Exit 77) off-ramp and the Boulevard of the Allies on-ramp to westbound I-376 from 9pm Friday June 14 continually until 5am Monday June 17.

All traffic will be detoured.

Motorists can use the Wilkinsburg (Exit 78B) or Edgewood/Swissvale (Exit 77) detour routes.  All trucks will be detoured at the Wilkinsburg (Exit 78B) interchange.

Joint Public Meeting in The Run, June 20

The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority and the City of Pittsburgh’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure invite you to attend and participate in a public meeting on the Four Mile Run Stormwater Improvement Project and the Mon-Oakland Mobility Project. This meeting will update attendees on the progress and current status of the projects and solicit feedback and stakeholder comment.

Doors Open: 6:00 PM
Presentations: 6:30 to 7:00 PM
Q&A and Small Group Discussions: 7:00 to 8:00 PM
