The Mary S. Brown Memorial – Ames United Methodist Church has been operating at 3424 Beechwood Boulevard for over 100 years. We are committed to staying on the site to serve the community and our neighbors going forward. After more than 15 years of research and discussion the congregation has come up with a plan to move forward and replace the failing structure.
The congregation reluctantly made the heartbreaking decision to replace the gorgeous but aging, expensive-to-maintain structure with a smaller, more efficient one.
A few weeks after their All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Dinner on 20 July 2019 the church building will be closed for deconstruction.
