The weather was great last Saturday when volunteers helped outdoors at the annual GCA Spring Cleanup on April 14, 2018.
The cleanup focused on three areas: The Run, Magee Field, and the garden at Ronald Street. Here are David Cashmere’s photos from our very busy day.
Above, all ages participated in The Run. Below, the Magee Field cleanup crew pauses for a photo.

Weeding the Ronald Street garden took a long time but was well worth it.

Meanwhile, trees were being planted at the new Hassett Park next to the Greenfield Bridge. The park’s namesake, Patrick Hassett, was on hand to watch.

Here’s Pat (on the left) and David Cashmere with the park behind them.

Thank You to everyone! The neighborhood looks great.
