Enter the Garbage Olympics, Sept 22

Pittsburgh’s Second Annual Garbage Olympics is coming soon!

On Saturday September 22 Greenfield will compete with 17 other City neighborhoods to win prizes for:

  • Most Volunteers
  • Dirtiest Volunteer (oh my!)
  • Strangest Item Found, and
  • Most Garbage Collected

Help us win!

Join your neighbors and GCA volunteers picking up litter in The Run (Saline, Alexis and Four Mile Run Road). If we have enough volunteers we’ll also do Greenfield Ave from the car wash down to Saline.

What:  Pittsburgh’s 2nd Annual Garbage Olympics

When:  Saturday September 22, 9am to 11am

Where:  Four Mile Run Park near the corner of Saline and Alexis (across from Big Jim’s and the War Memorial)

Bring:  Yourself, family and friends!  The City will provide gloves and garbage bags.

Bonus:  There’s an After Party at noon at Spirit Lounge in Lawrenceville, 242 51st Street.
