A happy crowd turned out on Wednesday afternoon, 14 November 2018, for the ribbon cutting at the newly renovated Magee Rec Center and Magee Field.
Councilman Corey O’Connor and Mayor Bill Peduto prepared the big scissors.
They cut the ribbon with assistance from kids from Greenfield School.
We all joined the crowd waiting indoors.
Councilman O’Connor and Mayor Peduto gave brief speeches.
Jim Gregg thanked the City for the renovated facilities on behalf of Greenfield Baseball Association and especially for the new lights. Now the kids will be able to play after sunset.
The facilities look great! The basketball court is already in use.
The field is ready to go. All we need is some good weather.
We can hardly wait for Spring!
