Pittsburgh’s Third Annual Garbage Olympics is coming soon!
On Saturday, September 21, 2019 Greenfield will compete with up to 30 other Pittsburgh city neighborhoods to win prizes in the GARBAGE OLYMPICS. Prizes are:
- Most Volunteers
- Dirtiest Volunteer (oh my!)
- Strangest Item Found and…
- Most Garbage Collected

Join your neighbors and GCA volunteers by picking up litter in the Beechwood–Murray area of Greenfield.
What: Pittsburgh’s 3rd Annual Garbage Olympics
When: Saturday September 21, 2019, 9am to 11am
Where: Meet at the corner of Lilac Street & Murray Avenue (near Giant Eagle parking)
Bring: Yourself, family and friends! The City will provide gloves and garbage bags.
Bonus: There’s an After Party at noon at Threadbare Cider and Mead, 1291 Spring Garden Ave, in Troy Hill.
