The Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission (SPC) has been conducting a traffic corridor study of State Route 885/Second Avenue for at least six months. Their public meeting, held in The Run on 25 July 2019, requested comments on the most recent draft proposal.
Of interest to Greenfielders is the proposed double traffic circle, shown above, that would connect Second Avenue, Hazewood Green, Saline Street, Greenfield Avenue, and Irvine Street.
