Pittsburgh’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure announced last week that Swinburne Street will be closed for about five months as the city conducts repairs related to landslides.
The $630,000 project will begin during the week of 21 October 2019. Traffic will be closed in both directions between Greenfield Avenue and Edgehill Street/Childs Street on the Greenfield-South Oakland border.
Detours will be marked. Access to the Sestili Nursery will be available.
The project will include the construction of a wall and soil stabilization.
