Come to a free training Thursday, March 30 from 6-7pm at Greenfield Elementary School where Bike PGH Education Manager will share the rules of the road for bikes and cars so we can all feel confident and safe using our streets, no matter the mode of transit.
The presentation is adapted from the League of American Bicyclists Bicycle Friendly Driver training. No driving or bicycle riding is required, just an open mind. We’ll discuss the importance of sharing the road, bike infrastructure, some common cyclist behaviors (both legal and not), and talk about avoiding common crash scenarios.
There’s something for drivers and bicyclists (who are often also drivers) alike to learn. Thanks to Rep Dan Frankel’s office for organizing, Greenfield elementary for hosting, and Bike PGH for facilitating!
