May 2018: Under the requirements of the EU data protection law, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Greenfield Community Association is publishing this privacy policy. Some of the policy’s boilerplate does not apply to GCA Pittsburgh but we are keeping it in place, with notes, so that the entire scope is mentioned herein.

Comments does not allow users to post comments on our website.  No data is collected.

Media does not allow readers to upload images to the website. This category does not apply.

Contact forms

The website has one contact form at this link:

When visitors submit data on the contact form, it creates an email to containing the data the user typed into the form.  This email message may be retained indefinitely.


Because we allow neither comments nor visitor logins on our website, no personal data is collected in cookies.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

The only data we collect is on the contact form; it generates an email message. We may share your message within GCA or with others who can answer the question(s) you’ve posed.

How long we retain your data

If you submit data on the contact form, the message is retained indefinitely.

What rights you have over your data

If you have submitted a contact form, you can request to receive a copy of the email if it still exists. You can also request that we erase the email message if it still exists. Erasure does not include any information we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
